Lead or Sr Maintenance Tech/Mechanic – Manufacturing (Casting-Molding)

Location: Muskegon County Michigan | Full-Time | Onsite

Compensation:

$85,000-100,000 base DOE + bonus

Full benefits: 401(k), medical, dental, vision, PTO

Schedules:

  • 1st Shift (Mon–Fri)
  • Weekend Shift (3x12s, 6:45 AM – 6:45 PM)

Overview

We’re hiring two Maintenance Supervisor who feel they are ready to move into a Supervisor role to support a high-performance aerospace casting operation. Your official title will be Maintenance Supervisor.

This is a true player-coach role (roughly 50/50 hands-on and leadership)—you’ll lead the team, but also step in on the floor for troubleshooting and complex repairs when needed.

This is not a desk-only role. Expect to be actively involved on the production floor while driving reliability, safety, and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily maintenance operations in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair support (mechanical & electrical)
  • Drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  • Supervise and develop maintenance technicians (scheduling, coaching, performance)
  • Partner with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture (EHS)
  • Analyze downtime and maintenance data to identify improvements
  • Support Lean / TPM / continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership as a Lead or Sr Tech experience in manufacturing
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills (mechanical + electrical)
  • Experience with industrial equipment and maintenance systems (CMMS preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Comfortable balancing on-the-floor work with leadership responsibilities
  • Aerospace or casting experience is a plus
