Warehouse Lead (Mid-Level)

Location: Vernon, CA

Pay: $30.00/hour + generous overtime

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 AM – 1:00 PM (occasional Saturdays)

Overview:

Established meat processing company is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on operational support, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support warehouse team in receiving, storage, and shipping operations
• Operate forklifts and shipping equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure accurate inventory handling and product rotation in refrigerated/freezer environments
• Coordinate daily workflow to meet production and shipping deadlines
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Train and mentor warehouse staff as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in meat processing or cold storage environments
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Forklift operation experience required
• Ability to work in refrigerated/freezer conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
