What You'll Do

As an X-Ray Technologist, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional service.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate digital radiography equipment while maintaining image quality standards.
• Verify patient identity and review clinical history prior to imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and confidence.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Ensure radiation protection standards are followed for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary according to established protocols.
• Coordinate daily imaging workflow to support efficient patient care.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain imaging supplies and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and procedure-ready.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 1–3 years of recent experience as an X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography (Radiologic Technology) program

Licensure & Certifications

• Current New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
• Current BLS Certification

Preferred Skills

Successful candidates will have experience with:

• Digital Radiography (DR)
• Portable X-ray procedures
• Fluoroscopy assistance
• PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS)
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Radiation safety and quality assurance
• Equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Patient positioning and anatomy
• Infection prevention and patient safety protocols
