Sr Electricians – Off Shift

Pay: $35.70/hour starting rate | Up to $41.00/hour DOE


This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical and electronic equipment that supports high-volume manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLC-related electrical components, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, power distribution systems, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Perform electrical installations and equipment modifications as required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and safety.

Work Environment

This position requires occasional entry into confined spaces and the use of tight-fitting respirators. Candidates must be able to pass a respirator fit test and maintain a clean-shaven face where the respirator seals in accordance with safety requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must possess one of the following:
  • Journeyman Electrician Card
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of documented industrial electrical experience
  • Completion of a bona fide electrical apprenticeship with certificate of completion
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Preferred

  • Master Electrician License.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems.
