Sr Electricians – Off Shift
Pay: $35.70/hour starting rate | Up to $41.00/hour DOE
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical and electronic equipment that supports high-volume manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLC-related electrical components, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, power distribution systems, and industrial automation equipment.
- Perform electrical installations and equipment modifications as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and safety.
Work Environment
This position requires occasional entry into confined spaces and the use of tight-fitting respirators. Candidates must be able to pass a respirator fit test and maintain a clean-shaven face where the respirator seals in accordance with safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must possess one of the following:
- Journeyman Electrician Card
- Minimum of eight (8) years of documented industrial electrical experience
- Completion of a bona fide electrical apprenticeship with certificate of completion
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Preferred
- Master Electrician License.
- Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems.
