Location: Located in Whitehall, MI — commutable from Muskegon, Grand Haven, and Grand Rapids.
Pay: $33.20/hr → $38.00/hr within ~6 months

What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll support maintenance operations in a high-output industrial environment, keeping critical production equipment running efficiently and minimizing downtime.
This is a hands-on role for experienced trades professionals who are comfortable troubleshooting and working directly on equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical issues on production equipment
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Perform welding, pipefitting, and light fabrication
- Align belts, sheaves, and rotating equipment
- Support preventative maintenance and reduce downtime
- Partner with production and engineering to improve equipment performance
What We’re Looking For
You must meet one of the following:
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance / millwright / machine repair experience
- Completed apprenticeship program (certificate required)
- Journeyman card (Millwright or Machine Repair)
Additional requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical and/or electrical)
Preferred Experience
- Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting
- Die casting, aerospace, or metal fabrication environments
- High-volume manufacturing operations
Schedule & Shift Details (Important)

First 60 days: 1st shift (training period)

After training: 2nd or 3rd shift (based on seniority)
- Long-term shift assignment tied to union structure
